No turning back - Chapter 6

Before I was about to respond to his offer an officer interupted following behind him was the detective still working on finding my parents.

As he saw the situation he began to apologize  and began leaving not to interrupt us no more, but was called to come back by the kind man now knowing his actual name was Bill.

As Bill was about to give us the space to talk, I held his leather end of his jacket, having a “Please don’t leave me alone” expression, seeing my eyes he offered to hear out what the investigator had to say.
